Our church was founded by a few families of Armenian Evangelical origin who came to Montreal from the Middle East in 1960. The Church has hosted many people arriving as immigrants to Montreal, loving and surrounding them, during their period of transition.

The church has grown steadily over the years, and experienced a growth spurt in 2003, following the purchase of our existing building, which has become a center for worship, evangelism and edification. Hundreds of people have had a personal experience with Jesus Christ as the Savior and Lord of their lives.

The church staff and leadership are united in vision, by dedicating all efforts and means, to advance the Kingdom of God, by joyfully serving our neighbors, and by being instruments of blessing and healing to our community.

The First Armenian Evangelical Church of Montreal is affiliated to the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America.
